EMES was founded in 2003 by Dr. Fadi Ghaida, an optical surgeon with over two decades of practice in Lebanon and Qatar. Starting with emergency and ophthalmology equipment, we built early relationships with hospitals across Doha and opened our first distribution office.
In 2008 we expanded into dental equipment, then into laboratory and critical care over the years that followed. Today EMES supports 17 specialty departments — from neonatal to ENT, from medical furniture to biomedical maintenance.
Our customers include national hospitals, private clinics, retail optical chains, and healthcare projects across the GCC. The team size has grown. The promise has not: show up, know your equipment, keep it running.
Dr. Fadi Ghaida
Trained as an optical surgeon with over 20 years of clinical and commercial experience in Lebanon and Qatar. Dr. Ghaida founded EMES to bring the same rigor from the operating room into medical supply: right product, right time, supported for the long haul.
He remains closely involved in key client relationships, new brand onboarding, and the annual clinical review of our catalog.
